ReplyDeleteHi Melinda this is one awesome lot of candy you are offering. I am already a follower of yours, I, like you am on a journey of learning and I find that one of the best ways to do that is to visit crafter's blogs and see their wonderful creations just like yours. I have spent quite a while viewing your cards and they are always full of inspiration especially the lovely colours you use. I always tend to speak from the heart so the words just tumble out, I find joy and peace while visiting blogs and that includes you.

Melinda, yum, yum is all I can say. That's a hefty bunch of candy! Love your blog and am now a follower. Can't wait to see what you have for the future.
ReplyDeleteI have been hopping around alot of blogs here lately. Your blog is just gorgeous. I wouldn't change a thing. You should be very proud of what you have here.
ReplyDeleteHi Melinda, I have seen your work before and love it! However, if you are looking for feedback, well first let me just say I noticed you do not seem to be a lover of ribbon on your cards, lol. So, if I were you, and working your same designs, I would do something dimensional with pop dots on your cards. Like pop dot the ballerina dress, birthday cake, fairy wings and shoes. Also, I would use the morning glory stamp, but put colored paper flowers with a brad over it. I hope you don't think I'm being too bold. Just telling you what my personal spin would be on your stuff. My blog is http://tropical-scrapper.blogspot.com. Thanks! Freda margaritafreda@gmail.com PS: sorry this is long.
ReplyDeleteHi Melinda. I just became a follower. I am a newbie myself but I can tell you I love your use of color and the whimsical feel of your work. Brings a smile for sure!! Thanks for the chance to win!!

ReplyDeleteI love browsing through your projects! They are so colorful and art-sy (if that is even a word...). I too am a life long learner. I have recently added stamping, cricut, and the slice to my scrapbook pages. Your work is very inspiring to me. I love the bold, bright colors!

Hi,
ReplyDeleteI am so glad I found your blog! I love your style....and I think we may have a lot in common, since I have 9 kids with only one still at home. I would love to win your candy :)
Congratulations on keeping your blog updated. I love the colors you use and your creative use of embellishments (most recent example is your child card on Feb 8th). One suggestion I have for you is if you are going to cut something out try coloring past the lines. That way when you cut it out there won't be white edges around your images.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the sharing such nice blog candy!

Hi Melinda,
ReplyDeleteSo glad you posted a link from the SCAL yahoo list to your blog....it's great! I'm very new to papercrafting so I don't feel that I am qualified to offer any criticism...but I do like what I see! You have so many great cards...I need to study them for all your ideas! Thanks too for the chance to win some super stuff.

I love a lot of your cards. Good use of color. Not too much to confuse the eye. If you'd like to try a new technique, I didn't see any distressed ink. It could be a fun new dimension that might not blend with all your ideas but could add a new perspective. Thanks for your generosity.
ReplyDeleteHi Melinda! I love your blog. The blue and pink and brown - fabulous! Your stamping is wonderful and your coloring - rocks! I am now a follower and I will be visiting you most days to get inspiration from you!
ReplyDeleteHi Melinda...what a FUN and CREATIVE contest!! I LOVE your ART...you know that. I like all your pieces...some more than other (but that's true in my own ART too). I particularly love how you use BRIGHT and BOLD colors!!! So PRETTY

I love the cards and all the colors
ReplyDeleteHi Melinda, First of all i do love all your work! It's different from what i do on my cards. I distress a LOT more, your cards are beautiful and "lean cut" You can try crumbling a piece of paper that you want to use on your card and flatten it out a little to adhire it to your card. Just an idea. btw what a great contest!!
ReplyDeleteWow Melinda! What a great blog. I'm a new follower but so glad I found you. You're quite productive! Such a pretty collection you've amassed. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteI'm very new to all of this stamping, cutting , etc. so I can't really offer you any advise. I can tell you that I love what I have seen on your blog and have gained lots of inspiration from it. I am a new follower and have sent you my "best guess". Congrats to you and keep posting.
ReplyDeleteHi Melinda i am a new follower to your blog and i too think your creations are fantastic..i love what i see on your blog and i would just say keep on keeping on and i am sure you will evolve and get even better as you grow on your learning curve..

Hi Melinda. I think that your blog is beautiful and very inspiring. I have become a follower and look forward to your future postings. Thank you for the chance at the blog candy.
ReplyDeleteI've been a digital scrapbooker since before it was mainstream and I'm just getting into paper (a little out of order!). I am amazed at the paper crafts that talented people come up with and love exploring blogs. I love your style and love to seek inspiration from others. I need to see something then experiment and "tweak" things to give it my own spin.
